Take a Walk in the Park with Lauren

Join Lauren’s 2nd annual walk as part of Mental Health Awareness Month in May.  This year, Lauren will walk 200 miles of Montgomery County’s Parks trails to highlight the importance of EveryMind’s crisis prevention and intervention phone, text and online chat services. Lauren seeks to raise awareness of how essential this heavily utilized but underfunded resource is to our entire community.

We host this event every year because our mission is to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness and reduce the stigma that is often associated with mental health challenges. Through Run for EveryMind, we strive to educate the community while providing an opportunity to engage in a positive, healthy activity that promotes good mental and physical health.
