Angst: Virtual Film Screening and Panel Discussion

On April 23, 2020, EveryMind, in collaboration with Adventist HealthCare, Holy Cross Health, MedStar Montgomery, Suburban Hospital and Montgomery County Public Schools, hosted a online screening of the film Angst, followed by a virtual panel discussion with experts in the field of anxiety management and treatment. The panel was facilitated by Ned Johnson and William Stixrud, authors of “The Self-Driven Child.”
This documentary is designed to raise awareness around anxiety. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents and a very special interview with Michael Phelps. The goal is to help people identify and understand the symptoms of anxiety and encourage them to reach out for help.
Many thanks to all the partners who made this event so successful and Indie Flix for supporting these efforts! To learn more about the film please visit the website.
