Strategy Session #3
Going Live With the Network

A New Community Partnership with AmericaServes

The over-arching purpose of Strategy Session #3 is to effectively communicate the roles and responsibilities of a live Network. IVMF and Unite US will provide a recap of the second strategy session, further refine the service coverage area, and provide an in-depth overview into the requirements to set up a Coordinated Network. The session focuses on onboarding; the IVMF Team will provide an in-depth demonstration of the provider registration process using an actual, live provider in the room.

Who:   Leaders and stakeholders serving the surrounding Maryland Counties in and around Washington DC
What:  Strategy Session #3
When: Tuesday, December 12, 2017, 10:00am – 12:00pm ET
Where: Henry M Jackson Foundation; 6720A Rockledge Dr (Suite 110 A/B), Bethesda, MD 20817

This event is held at no cost. Parking will not be reimbursed or validated.

A partnership with the IVMF and their AmericaServes program will allow ServingTogether to connect multiple existing county-level veterans collaboratives into one comprehensive network that connects veterans, service members, and their families to service providers across the entire National Capital Region. Now working in 13 cities around the country, AmericaServes is a tried-and-tested community of practice aimed at coordinating services and improving outcomes to those who have served.

Following these strategy sessions, ServingTogether and the Institute of Veterans and Military Families’ AmericaServes program will deploy a coordinated network of services, resources, and care within the AmericaServes model being replicated in communities elsewhere (NCServes, NYServes, PAServes, SCServes), supported by local providers, IVMF, and its technology partner, Unite US.

The Serving Together program was featured as a case study in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration’s “Recovery” video series in March, 2015. Production by FirstLine Creative & Media.
